In 1972 the artist Joseph Beuys established the office Organisation für direkte Demokratie durch Volksabstimmung for documenta 5. Visitors could find the artist there, sitting at a desk with a red rose in a measuring cylinder. Untitled Rose is a quotation of Beuys‘ work and it tries to revise his request.
